Directed by Cassidy Cagney. Shakespeare's Twelfth Night is a delightful tale of mistaken identities, love, and the complexities of human emotion. When shipwrecked Viola disguises herself as a young man named Cesario, she becomes entangled in a web of romantic pursuits, inadvertently igniting the affections of the noble Duke Orsino and the grieving Countess Olivia. As the characters navigate a series of humorous misunderstandings and heartfelt revelations, the play explores themes of love's folly, gender roles, and the joy of transformation. With its witty dialogue, memorable characters, and enchanting plot twists, Twelfth Night remains a timeless celebration of the unpredictability of love and the spirit of revelry.


Julius Caesar

Directed by Jesse Baxter. Julius Caesar is a suspenseful, action-packed staging of Shakespeare’s electrifying political drama.
This intimate production invites audiences close enough to feel every whispered conspiracy and shifting allegiance. As our third production at MacLeod’s, we’re thrilled to return to a space that has become a creative home for bold storytelling. The production is also part of RTG’s ongoing literacy initiative, using live theatre to spark engagement with classic texts and keep Shakespeare vibrant, accessible, and alive for our community.

Hamlet

Directed by Cassidy Cagney. This Hamlet placed the audience on either side of the action in intimate alley staging, close enough to catch every breath. The shadowy, intimate atmosphere wraps Shakespeare’s tragedy in a moody, murky tension — like screaming into thick fog and savoring the delicious chill that lingers long after. Every turn of the play pulsed with danger and thrilling intensity, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats.
The Tempest

Romeo and Juliet

Directed by Evelyn-Claire Smith. This production set the play in a 1990s Grunge dystopia, where rock-and-roll rebellion are apropos in the wake of an oppressive Big Brother-esque regime.

A Midsummer Night's Dream: The Fairyland Experience
